We had a ceremony last week for our old words. We buried them and are now concentrating on new and more exciting words. As you know, we only covered 20 words. So, what are some more examples of old and new words. Also, tell me why we buried the old words. Be descriptive and have fun blogging!
If you were not here for the funeral, then you can still come up with old and new words.

Start using some of those descriptive words that really make you all mature writers. You create pictures and movies in others heads when you write well. That's what writing is all about - drawing pictures and scenes with your words!
ReplyDeleteMrs.Palmer I loved the fact that we buried was such a wonderful idea.It was so sad though because we had to say goodbye to all of our words that we have been using forever.I know that the class will have a great learning experiance with our new words this year.
